The Queer History of Colorado Springs
This is a research project meant to document the corners of Colorado Springs LGBTQIA2+ history and culture across time, place, and connections. My hope is that through this research, the impacts and contributions of different people, organizations, events, and places are not lost to time. It also serves as a reminder that queer people have always been here.
This research is primarily conducted through archived newspapers through the Pikes Peak Library District, Colorado Springs LGBTQIA2+ Oral History Project episodes, and community input.
